Transport is a key enabler to rebuild post conflict societies.
In just a few years, the Kurdish region of Iraq has been transformed from a place of war and sanctions to one of peace and growth. Scania has long been proactive in providing training in developing countries, and in 2012 the company initiated the Swedish Academy for Training for service technicians in Iraq in cooperation with SIDA, UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organisation) and the Kurdish organisation MOLSA (Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs).
